Objectives:
Training members of a newly formed self-managing group to
work together efficiently and effectively.
Method:
Training is highly interactive. The group is led through a
structured
set of activities and discussions resulting in increased awareness
and insight regarding the members' attitudes and methods for
dealing with new and unforeseen situations and problems.
Program:
The seminar is based on the concept of "Genuine
Cooperation" in which four basic aspects of group membership
which need to be satisfactorily addressed are outlined:
- OVERVIEW. Every individual needs to comprehend the overall
issue(s) the group is addressing.
- USEFULNESS. Every individual needs to understand how his
efforts
contribute towards achieving the group's goal(s).
- INFLUENCE. Every individual needs to be able to exert an
influence on the group and on its work.
- CONTACT. Every individual needs to feel understood.
Benefits:
The group can work more efficiently and with greatly decreased
incidence of interpersonal problems.
